People Matter- a great idea or strategy succeeds only to the extent that it gets properly implemented. We find that people with solid CHARACTER, proper TRAINING and applicable EXPERIENCE are much more apt to succeed than those lacking in one or more of these essential areas.
Numbers Matter- an idea or strategy can sound good, but it only becomes investable if the numbers pencil out with a high enough projected return to compensate for the risk involved. It is essential that those performing the analysis are not only mathematically competent, but that they objectively make realistic assumptions and projections.
